    Time to trim back the aggies?

    Towards the middle of summer in Australia the Agapanthus flowers are finished and need to be trimmed back to tidy them up and also stop the seeds spreading everywhere.
    A great plant that thrives on neglect! Generally requiring little to no additional watering, it fends for itself and puts on a great show every Summer. Those straight stemmed white or purple flower heads also look great in vases inside.

    Originally from Mexico this sunloving daisy is a groundcover that also thrives in Australia. Producing thousands of flowers it can be grown as a thick ground cover in full sun, or can also be grown a little more sparsely in part shade spots in between other plants.
