These bulbs grow very low to the ground so they look fabulous at the front edge of a garden.
This is the improved version of the common blue grape hyacinth. Deep blue blooms in the late winter, very long lasting flowers. Exceptional when mass planted, and a beaut companion plant for yellow daffodils.
Best if you can plant them into a nice rich soil with plenty of organic matter (Well rotted manure and compost) but they do also cope pretty well in poor soils as long as the drainage is good.
Perfect for naturalising they multiply readily.
