G’day team. So sorry to hear about your plight !!!….am I surprised, absolutely not. Be careful with your outstanding debts…as bankruptcy could be your ultimate destination and you’ll lose more than just a business. The sad fact is….Australia is just not supportive of small business…I can certainly vouch for that as I too have closed a couple of small businesses over the last 30 years. The biggest problem we have here in OZ….our small population and hence small buying power….if your business was in the US….you would flourish !!! The demographic of who you are targeting….just doesn’t have the numbers for you to thrive….and our current political circumstance….only favours those who are willing to sell out to china. Cost of living is out of control….and your business is just the ‘micro’ version of what our current ‘macro’ ( ie Australia)version is……in huge debt and on the verge of being wiped out on the international stage. Well done for being a true Aussie and having a go !!!! I’m sure you’ll come up with a new and interesting and successful challenge. Take care in your future endeavours.

Dear Brian, thanks for the update. Will be purchasing some more after sending this.
Inspired by your early videos we have made up covers for our tomatoes (mostly) with the steel tubing frames- even having to extend their height when I didn’t get to prune the plants to size. The power planter has been a winner- gave the little one to my son and bought the longer one , with the special you had on the De Walt drill. Amazing combination, use it often. Have just invested in the new pvc and fly wire veggie covers. The cabbage moths are frustrated not being able to access the cabbages now.
I must admit most of my purchases have been prompted from the emails and videos. Sounds like dropping the expensive ‘youtwitterface’ advertising options may be the best.
I do subscribe also to Diggers Club with an annual subscription. Could be worth considering.
Best close so I can place my order.

Use them to rebuild.

Only two days ago when my last order arrived was I thinking to myself “thank goodness Aussie Gardener exists” when I need good supplies for the garden. And I watch your videos many times over. I’ll pop back into the website and see what I may need now. I loved the birdhouses, but wasn’t fast enough to get my order in for one. Hi guys,
As a long time customer that’s spent plenty, I’m going to add my 2c. Ditch Facebook advertising, stick to Google. You don’t need anything else. Google covers it all.
Take note of what sells and what doesn’t and why. Then remove what doesn’t sell. Keep the big ideas in check. Observe the current financial climate. Understand everyone elses pressures and what actual spend is available to them.
Sometimes just maintaining the balance is better than pushing for bigger things.
I had big ideas and spent big on it too. But nature doesn’t care. The weather destroyed my plans and then my neighbours cemented it’s end. Some things are just out of our control.
Keep it simple.

I hope you soldier on, and definitely give fb and any advertising that you decide is a no-go. As a pensioner I juggle and budget, so I have after pay for occasional extras….I wish you had Afterpay in your payment options, as I’m sure there are others who would use it to buy from you.

Hi Brian and family,

Great products. It sounds like you need to generate more leads through organic searches and SEO and utilise AI to help your brand’s presence, rather than spending money per click for advertising on Google and FB as that sounds like it’s killing your business.

I haven’t done extensive research on your site but Googling “no tangle hose au” your website comes up as the second result (not the promoted one), and “potato grow bags au” you come iup second as well. Why pay for advertising when your site comes up pretty high up?
