30 Day Money Back Guarantee
You get to try it out for 30 days at your place and if it doesn't do what we have described, then you can return it for a refund.
We have this guarantee to give you peace of mind that it really does work and that it is a good quality, legitimate product... and if by some chance you find it isn't.. then you have the option to return for a refund.
It's a risky offer for us, because we could end up with some 'not so honest' people, landscaping their whole garden and then returning their well used Power Planter saying it doesn't work. Sadly there has been a couple of people who have done this.
But overall we like to see the good in people and know that 99.9% of people have morals and will do the right thing.
There has even been a few people that planned on returning their Power Planters because it didn't dig their ground.. but once we had a chat and showed them the Teaching Video... they had another go (with the correct settings and technique) and found it worked brilliantly and wrote a raving review. We have installed the video at the bottom of this page just in case that applies to you. ;-)
What it doesnt cover?
Return Postage. Sorry but you have to pay for the return of the item. It's usually not a big cost. In the same way you would have to drive back to Bunnings to return a faulty product.
Power Planter Lifetime Guarantee* - Covers Material Faults and Craftsmanship.
So if the steel twists out of shape, or the weld breaks prematurely, let us know and we will organise a replacement. Very Ocasionally there is a faulty weld which will generally break on first use.
The reason we can offer this guarantee is because each Power Planter is hand welded in the USA using USA steel and a team that takes pride in their work. It is built tough and does the job it is meant to. But occasionally with a hand made object, something can go wrong so we are standing behind the product to say we will replace any faulty units.
Business ethics and customer service are very important to us. We are here to support you and truly want you to get excellent results with your Power Planter. Sometimes we have people abuse the Lifetime Warranty threatening to write bad reviews if we don't give them a new one. This really is poor behaviour and not acceptable. Please do the right thing by us and we will do the same for you.
What it doesnt cover?
Normal wear and tear from use. The Power Planters don't last forever. (They are good but not invincible!) They will wear out over time particularly if you are digging abrasive rocky ground. But you should get plenty of digging from it before that happens. Our professional landscape customers for example wear them out and just keep replacing them through the year... whereas someone digging existing garden beds is likely to get years out of each one. This is not a fault of the tool, but just occurs with usage over time.
Damaging the hex head that goes in your drill - This happens when your drill chuck is not tightened enough, or when you have tightened the chuck teeth onto the ridges rather than the flats of the hex shaped end. To avoid this, always check how you have it in the chuck and make sure the teeth are tightening onto the flat sides. You can see this by looking into the end of the chuck. If you do damage your Hex Head and it is no longer gripping in the drill, you will need to put the Power Planter in a vice and file the sides to be flat again so it will grip. This is not a fault of the tool, as with proper use, this doesn't happen.
Bending the Hex Head - Smaller Power Planters, particularly the 207, 307 and 312 models all have a 10mm (3/8th inch) hex head. This is designed to go into a cordless drill as shown in the teaching video. If you attach it to a big corded drill and are digging hard ground, you risk bending the hex head. This is not covered by the lifetime Guarantee. This will not happen when using in a cordless drill as recommended. The longer 324h model has a thicker 13mm hex head that will generally cope with the higher powered drills. But still excercise caution remembering the bigger the drill, the more leverage you are applying.
Why aren't all these things covered?
We wish we could say it will last forever, especially when it is such miracle worker in the garden. It is made of good quality USA steel which in itself is strong, but when you are digging tough ground with rocks, and other gritty substances, it will abrase the steel, wearing it down and eventually the weld will break. But if this happens, generally it will not be digging as effectively anyway because the flighting (the spiral) is worn down to be very narrow at that end. So it is time to 'thank it' for its hard work and get a shiny brand new one. Hard to let go, we know... but think of all the digging it did for you.

Do you need help getting your Power Planter working well? The first step is to watch (or rewatch) the teaching video below, where I explain exactly how to set your drill up, the speed to use, tightening the chuck, other safety features and also the correct digging technique.
I say this in the nicest possible way, but almost every time when we do hear from a customer saying the Power Planter doesn't work well, it is from someone who HASN'T watched the training video and is using it incorrectly. (Especially those who have been using power tools all their life and already 'know what they are doing'!)
So please do take the time to watch this and you will very likely, end up super happy like the thousands of other customers. :-)
