I for one would be happy if you cut down on your Facebook and Google advertising as I get inundated with ads. I know it is for people who don’t know you exist, but for those of us that have bought items over the years it does get annoying. I prefer your newsletters advising of your stock. Like someone said previously, ask your existing customers to refer you on to their friends and family. Of all the items I’ve purchased, only the seeds were hit and miss! But that’s to be expected! Or it could just be my lousy gardening skills! Good luck for the future.

Thank you so much for your fabulous service which I have enjoyed and been grateful for several times (every time I’ve placed an order) since your early days… What a wonderful service you provide and have done from the start… I still have and use my power planter!

I envision enjoying this relationship long into the future with an ever expanding range of top quality products on offer… and the reliably lovely service I’ve become accustomed to for so long.

Can I please suggest that you scrap the internet advertising budget and simply ask we who will love to help and support you, to spread the word for you?

That’s just as valuable as making purchases and sometimes exponentially even more so. Just a thought. Word of mouth from one to another is a powerful tool.

Grateful to all of you for all you have done and all you will do.

Sad to hear. I’ll try and buy a few products over time.

Hi Brian and family, sorry to hear the news in the video, first purchase from you I think was the power planter complete set, still going strong although not as much use as it should get. Most recently the electronic pest scared (not the right title!) as a mystery climbing animal is getting into our fenced backyard and leaving visiting cards …. Haven’t set it up outside yet but the idea looks perfect. Happy if you ditch Facebook ad Google if you need to, your website would always be first point of call for gardening things. As you said there is so much cheap stuff out there that is dead before a month old, really going off FB purchases after being caught by a number of dodgy companies. Best wishes, hope you pull out of the hole!, regards, Mark, Sunshine Coast

Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear that you’re in such trouble! I’m all to happy to commit to purchasing a few times a year, and I’ll definitely go and buy something now.

PS. Here’s a thought…. Why don’t you ask your community to promote you on social media and share Aussie Gardener with their friends? You might need to remind us periodically but I, for one, would be happy to do that for you.

I am so so sad and sorry to hear this Brian and Kaylene. Thank you to you and your boys for reaching out and sharing so honestly. Being vulnerable is tough but I agree. You’ve given us all an opportunity to help while there’s still time and I, for one, am extremely grateful for that. Thank you.
Aussie Gardener is a bright light within a world that is eminently focused on cheap, poor quality, throw away items. I have yet to buy anything that hasn’t been excellent quality and superb value. That said, I understand how tough it must be. My husband and I closed a 60 year old Australian fully family owned and operated manufacturing plant last year for similar reasons. We had 20 staff at the time, some of whom had been with us for 43+ years. To say it was a difficult time would be the understatement of the century.
I hope with all my heart that your community can help bring you the miracle you need and that Aussie Gardener will be around for many years to come. Sending my love, thoughts and prayers for a successful outcome.
