I am a new customer. It was directed to your company as a result of friends recommendations. I will be happy to support your company primarily as the service I received on my original order was first class
Good luck with the future. We all need to support Aussie companies having a go and supplying great products and services. It is the right thing to do

Sorry to hear this guys. One tip is to consider small discounts like $5 off purchases over $50 or free shipping over a certain value that won’t hurt your margins. I love your products and your service. I will get a voucher and reach out to my network. I need grow bags, tools and a lot of other stuff. I’ve bought a hose from one of the big hardware stores that is nothing compared to the dream hose! It gets tangled so easily. All the very best to you.

From my first contact with you and my first purchase, Ive recognised your complete integrity. Its a quality that has largely disappeared in the commercial digitally oriented world but one that I value greatly. I’m really saddened to learn that the mega digital media is sucking the life out of small business like yours. I suggest you get out of fb and google it now while I head to your online store and stock up.
I really appreciate how tough making this video must have been and I thank you for your frankness. Very best wishes for the journey ahead

You explained your financial situation well . It took courage to that. We have only purchased the potato growing bags. Unfortunately we had minimal success which was probably because we didn’t use them correctly. So that’s been a factor in not making subsequent purchases: our own lack of success, not a criticism of the product. The bags are a good quality and we still have them. As age pensioners we prefer quality which attracted us to your business in the first instance but we have limited $$$ so can’t spend without return. We shop at the big green barn too, but only for what we need quickly. Our gardening success isn’t great with their products either !
I agree with the others to ditch FB & Google. We will try and buy from you in the future, if we can, through email. Best wishes to you personally and to Aussie Gardener.

Hi, so sad to hear you are struggling. They make it very hard for the workers to succeed. We had a small business and understand the costs.. Google and Facebook are shocking to deal with.. I’m not on Facebook any more. I have enjoyed your products and information videos for 3 years now since I started my vege garden. It’s been a learning process for me and you’ve helped tremendously. I really hope you don’t have to close. Good luck to you all. I will head on over to your website for a purchase. 🙏

Thank you for letting us know what is happening. Could you leave Facebook and have your own web page. With all your customers ask them to refer you to friends. Each 5pm people buy from you ask that question each time. Alternative can pay a relevant advertising specialist to discuss other ways. I also suggest continuing your teaching how to grow different things and different ways of doing it. Charge a small fee too. I have bought excellent products from you but postage is the killer for me. Best wishes for your business.

I agree with the comments to get off FB and Google. Keep your email lists going. One of your challenges is that because you deal in great quality hardware, your products don’t wear out! The things I purchase from email companies are items that get used up like soaps and the like. I am not a garden guru, but there must be a category of seasonal items that people would want and would run out of. You have come too far to close now. Keep the faith!

Hi Brian and Kaylene,
I am sorry to hear about your struggles. I will see what I can do to make another purchase shortly.
May I suggest you ditch FB and Google Ads and try also reaching out to some of the boutique nurseries. They may either stock your products and promote your business and advice videos.

Warm regards,

Anne

I WOULD FIRST STOP PAYING SO MUCH FOR THE ADVERTISING AND ASK ALL YOUR CUSTOMERS TO SHARE YOUR BUSINESS ON THEIR PAGES AND IF THEY FIND A FRIEND TO BUY FROM YOU AS WELL, THEY COULD GET A FREEBEE. I JUST BOUGHT THE DREAM HOSE AND I AM VERY HAPPY WITH IT. CHEERS FROM HERMINA.
