While I sympathise with your predicament, I have spent a lot getting my garden supplies from you. I just don’t need any more stuff at the moment and we have heavy medical expenses for cancer scans and treatment. My advice, for what it is worth, is that you need to revisit your business plan and perhaps your business model. You won’t survive long term if you look like a charity.
I wish you all the best and a long term, sustainable recovery.

I am genuinely sad to hear your predicament and will get a gift card, hopefully that helps.
Thank you for your honesty and message.
Stay Strong and
Keep Smilin’
🙏.

I too am a small (One man) Business. It is very difficult out there, but you always need to keep an eye on costs, even more important than the Sales Volume. Spending more than 10% of sales on Marketing & promotion is absolutely ridiculous. I entirely rely on word of mouth & repeat Business from Good Customers. I’ve been in Business now over 30 years & have faced everything I think is possible to go wrong. Lately I’ve had another Business go Belly Up & they pay half the costs of the premises we share. ($13,000 month). So at the moment my costs have doubled (Now $25,000 month – 1 man Business) & some rumours have been spread causing my 3 largest customers to abandon me even though I never ever did anything wrong. (Half my Income disappeared overnight). So my Sales are now half. I have adjusted as best possible to at least cover costs (Making very little profit but not going backwards) till I can sort out the other person costs I am covering – rent, etc(Liquidation of other Business)& hopefully recover some of my costs. It looks like you may have to do something similar. Luckily you have 82,000 contacts you can send promotions to (Via email or Text) that you can work your way through to find the Good ones. If you could find 5,000 Good ones, I’m Sure you will have a fantastic Business. I have a little Nursery just down the road & they do really well & I’m sure they don’t have anything like that number.

You have excellent products & exceptional service. You have a huge amount of genuine, Loyal customers. You have obviously lots of new products in the works. You have great Social Media Skills. You have a vase extensive Knowledge. Just get those recurring costs under control & maybe look at the discounts you do( You are possibly discounting too much & therefore your products are perceived to be not worth there full price & so customers only buy them when on a good discount?)
I’m sure you will truely make it & learn to be an even better Business. Once I’m over my hurdles I will buy more items from you for sure.
Thanks Again, Graeme.

Sorry to hear of your problem, I know you are genuine people with genuine garden products. I think life and business is tough for all of us at the moment. I will look and see if I need something for the garden. I have had that many medical appointments lately haven’t been in the garden much. Hardly any rain here in Victoria so that I haven’t had my lawn mowed for five months. Good luck for your business.

Since 2019 I have been ordering different products from your shop watched gardening videos from your site . I still have all the products I ordered have for years ordered and grown the vegetable seeds and bulbs from your store. I was upset watching your family video you have all worked hard and don’t deserve this stressful situation. I have ordered today from your store and as usual it was a relaxing and straightforward order and prompt assurance from you all that my order had been received and payment also received
I only have high praise for your company and pray that it will continue to operate in the future. All the best.
Thanks
Delia
