I agree with the comments to get off FB and Google. Keep your email lists going. One of your challenges is that because you deal in great quality hardware, your products don’t wear out! The things I purchase from email companies are items that get used up like soaps and the like. I am not a garden guru, but there must be a category of seasonal items that people would want and would run out of. You have come too far to close now. Keep the faith!

Hi Brian and Kaylene,
I am sorry to hear about your struggles. I will see what I can do to make another purchase shortly.
May I suggest you ditch FB and Google Ads and try also reaching out to some of the boutique nurseries. They may either stock your products and promote your business and advice videos.

Warm regards,

Anne

I WOULD FIRST STOP PAYING SO MUCH FOR THE ADVERTISING AND ASK ALL YOUR CUSTOMERS TO SHARE YOUR BUSINESS ON THEIR PAGES AND IF THEY FIND A FRIEND TO BUY FROM YOU AS WELL, THEY COULD GET A FREEBEE. I JUST BOUGHT THE DREAM HOSE AND I AM VERY HAPPY WITH IT. CHEERS FROM HERMINA.

I’m very sorry to hear of your situation. I’ve purchased great products from you over the past few years and your service has been fantastic. If you can get off fb and try relying on emails, word of mouth and your website it may be worth it. I’ve recommended your business to others and used many purchases as gifts. I wish you all the best and look forward to more inspiring ideas from you.

So sad to hear you are struggling I reckon one problem is your products are of such incredible quality they don’t wear out and need replacing. Do you think Facebook is a good advertising platform, has it brought you more customers? I think Facebook has a lot scammers so why would you want to advertise with them, I personally love your products but I am a pensioner and cost of living is a struggle but I will purchase something off you hope it will help keep you going.

Happy to support your business by making a purchase. As a small sole trader business myself I can understand how hard it can get. As some others have said I would definitely stop paying for FB and google adds. I used FB ads in the early days of my business and quickly realised that word of mouth was getting me more customers than any of the ads I had paid for. I am a mowing and gardening contractor and struggle a little bit this time of year as the weather starts to cool down but I have made a modest purchase as much as I can afford at the moment. I have been guilty recently of buying from the big green shed all the time because usually when I need something I don’t have time to wait for it to arrive, but I will try to purchase from you a few times a year going forward. Hope you land on your feet and find some better ways to advertise to get more profit coming in. Stay strong and keep the faith.

I wanted to give you some honest (hopefully constructive) feedback, I was seriously looking at buying some of your amazing products but after analysing the cost I decided to make it myself, it’s a bit rough but it’s doing the job. Like most Aussies today we are struggling and trying to save cost at every opportunity, and like most people out there I have a stack of bills myself. And with that I hope that me as one potential buyer that did not make a purchase I thought it only fair to give you my genuine feedback. I’m not saying your products are over priced (they do look amazing) and I understand you as a business need to make money, it’s just why I did not make a purchase. I honestly hope that helps at least understand from a potential customer.

So sorry to hear of your current situation. Maybe there is a way you can ditch fb. Have a link to a newsletter or just your website. Good old fashioned mediums without the media moguls or just a different way of advertising – tik toks? Or word of mouth from hereon might be the ticket – you have done the hard work. Your products are amazing and I really appreciate your genuine follow up service and advice. So happy with my purchases to date. I will stay a loyal customer and ride out the journey with you. Good luck guys and wishing you all the best – stay strong!! Heading to your website😊
